DESCRIPTION:This is a panel of long-running movement builders from Free Sof
 tware campaigning\, platform cooperatives\, rural deliberative governance\
 , and cross-sector bridging work. These folks will share what worked\, wha
 t broke\, and what they'd do differently to help others in designing campa
 igns\, cooperatives\, and coalitions that are shaping change in society.\n
 \nSpeakers on the panel include:\n\nMatthias Kirschner (Free Software Foun
 dation Europe) presenting on "Public Money? Public Code!" (PMPC)\, a movem
 ent started in 2017\, that has been one of the most successful campaigns f
 or digital rights. Matthias will unpack the specific choices that let a si
 ngle campaign framework grow into a movement of more than 200 civil societ
 y organizations and over 39\,000 individuals worldwide. \n\nGuil Maueler (
 Regens Unite) brings five years of gathering climate activists\, cooperato
 rs\, DAO builders\, ReFi protocols\, DeSci collectives\, artists\, and pol
 icy nerds into the same room.\n\nOlivier Schulbaum (Platoniq Foundation\, 
 Democratic Tech Fund) will share about solidarity funding infrastructure G
 oteo.rg\, drawing lessons from 15 years of supporting community-led initia
 tives through crowdfunding\, matchfunding\, and what we now frame as "crow
 dvocacy." Concrete cases he'll discuss include street vendors’ organisin
 g\, La Nuestra\, a testimonial digital archive against gender-based violen
 ce\, and emerging models from renters and care workers such as Las Kellys.
 \n\nRay Xiang closes the loop with Nantang\, a rural reconstruction commun
 ity in China with more than 20 years of cooperative organizing\, whose exp
 eriments with mutual aid\, local deliberation\, and — more recently — 
 DAO governance and digital identity tools show both the promise and the fr
 agility of building shared rules\, records\, and trust in a living\, ordin
 ary community.\n\nThis panel is a working conversation about the thin\, ha
 rd-won connective tissue between movements that share goals but rarely sha
 re a table.
