With a background in Political Science and a Master’s degree in International Cooperation, Dario has experience engaging with policymakers, monitoring legislative processes, and contributing to initiatives such as Public Money? The Digital Markets Act (DMA) gives developers a legal right to request interoperability with dominant mobile platforms, but knowing how to use it is another matter. This talk walks Free Software developers through what Article 6(7) means in practice for iOS and Android, introduces the FSFE's DMA Interoperability Survey as a community tool for documenting shared experiences, and invites technically minded contributors to help build the evidence base needed to counter gatekeeper narratives and push for real enforcement.
