Start your camp day with a high-energy, equipment-free fitness session! Designed for all backgrounds and fitness levels, this morning gathering combines jogging, bodyweight exercises, and aerobics to boost energy, clear the mind, and build community connection before a full day at Camp.
Running from July 8 to 12, with options to extend sessions into the camp build and take-down days where necessary, this session is structured as a collective daily morning fitness routine to build consistency and keep energy high. What to bring: There is no complex gym gear required for this session. All participants need to bring is a mat (for core exercises and stretching) and their workout wear. Instead of working out individually, the entire group will move together each day following a synchronized schedule that alternates between two core activities.
Daily Dynamic Warm-Up (10 mins): Every single day, we will start together as a team with 10 minutes of dynamic stretching, light mobility work, and gentle movements. This wakes up the body, lubricates the joints, and prepares everyone to move safely.
Jogging Days (30 mins): On days scheduled for running, the warm-up will be followed by a 30-minute group jog. This will be a collective, community-paced run where we stay together, explore the Camp surroundings, and connect with each other in a relaxed, moving conversation.
Aerobics Days (30 mins): On days scheduled for aerobics, the warm-up leads into a unified, high-energy 30-minute bodyweight cardio and rhythm session. The entire group will follow a routine of fluid, equipment-free movements (like jumping jacks, high knees, shadowboxing, and core intervals) designed to boost endurance and coordination.
