The web3 community has developed magical technologies, but real-world adoption still feels like an uphill battle. But what if, instead of trying to convince the legacy world to use our tech, we designed our own city-like safe spaces, with our own tech, on our own terms?
In this session, I will break down what we can learn from monasteries, botanics, and cybernetics to cultivate web3-native environments for human flourishing. We will explore how to apply human-centered design to plant seeds and accelerate the growth of emerging cultures - built on privacy, censorship resistance, transparency, and longevity at its core.
Andrej Berlin is an expert in web3-native design and organizational development.
He is the founder of the decentralised design collective Deep Work.
