Try some lesser known teas like Goishicha, Awabancha, Georgian wild mountain tea, and unlabeled pu'er oddities, not necessarily prepared in the most traditional ways.


Tea culture can be extremely hierarchical, with specific terroirs, producers, and styles holding a prestige position, and preparation methods being highly regimented. In this session we aim to break out of that mold and try some lesser known teas that don't necessarily fit into the hierarchy. Come prepared for wildly improper technique if you're a true tea snob :)
