DWeb Camp 2026

Hiding in the plain sight
2026-07-09 , Forest Pavillion

I would like to introduce Logos - our philosophy, goals and technology stack - on the surface it is quite simple - everyone needs and deserves privacy to have real freedom. For that the tech stack needs to build on privacy and true decentralisation, not attach it as an afterthought. But tech is useless without people. Our answer to that is Logos Circles - hyper local communities focused on solving their own societal problems. The combination of philosophy, people and tech presents a promising way of actually activating and encouraging meaningful change in the world.

Logos builds on the premise that our current world order is broken - there must be better ways of human governance! To be able to experiment with these, we need private and decentralised technology stack and a community of aligned individuals willing to participate in and drive the experiments.

We do believe Logos provides the right substrate for this - with Logos Circles (35+ regular meetups run by volunteers) and the tech stack (Messaging, Storage and Blockchain). I would like to introduce Dwebcamp participants to both - the philosophy of Logos and the tech stack to spark the curiosity.

I am just a chaos agent - anything I touch usually breaks, but I often help to fix it:) Logos contributor, spent 10 years at Red Hat building Open Source.
