For more than 20 years, Freifunk communities have been building public network infrastructures. Berlin's specific political and technological history has been an ideal breeding ground for grassroots, autonomous initiatives. Volunteers from Berlin will present their software and hardware, how they run a non-commercial ISP, and how they approach the evergrowing need for connectivity in their neighborhoods.
