So you have an amazing idea, a transformative project, an impactful nonprofit that you need to get off the ground. Maybe it's a decentralized tech startup that you want to fund. To garner support and raise money, you must be able to answer four questions well. I will share with you the questions, and we'll do a live demo of how to improve your answers. Too often, people are so into the details they cannot see the story they need to tell. I'll help you discover your story...which is the first step to persuasive fundraising.
Did you know there are four main ways that nonprofits raise money?
-Major Donors
-Direct Response (mail, banners, telethons, pledge drives)
-Grants (Foundations, Gov't, Family Foundations)
-Earned Income
All these fundraising methods share one thing in common: to successfully raise money you need to be able to answer four questions compellingly. I've spent my long career leading many types of nonprofits and serving on nonprofit boards. Along the way, I've been able to put my skills as a journalist, television reporter, and storyteller to good use by answering those four questions convincingly for every organization I've been a part of-- and I can help you answer them, too.
If you need to raise support right now, come to this workshop and we'll do some live demonstrations of how to hone your story. In just 15-30 minutes, I can usually coach a founder or leader to sharpen their storytelling to the next level. It's kind of my superpower, and I'd like to share it with you.
